A face with freckles. A cosmetics brand for freckled skin — branding, photoshoot, and vector from AI for $0.86
A color cosmetics brand for people with freckled skin. Logo — vector, generated in Recraft from my AI agent's prompt. A photoshoot with one consistent face across all shots. Cost: $0.86.

MIEN is a cosmetics brand for people with freckles. It doesn’t try to hide them — quite the opposite. The test is simple: apply makeup and check if the freckles are still visible. If yes, the product works.
This is a fictional brand — a concept project where the brief was the client, not a company.
One face. Ten frames. Zero drift.
The hardest thing in AI image generation is maintaining the same face across multiple photos. Not similar — the same. Same freckles, same eye shape, same skin tone. In a studio shot, outdoors at golden hour, in a makeup close-up.
Four different shots, one model. Not “a similar-looking woman” each time — the same person. The human eye recognizes a face instantly and treats every difference as an error.
The solution: a reference-lock on a canon — the model gets the same face in every prompt and holds it across all frames. No LoRA training, no extra tools.

Color on skin, not on paper
We test colors on freckled skin, not on white paper. Because the whole brand idea is: makeup you can still see your face through. A fingerprint in balm, color half-blended. The product is the proof, not a pretty package.

Logo: the dot over “i” is a freckle
The MIEN logo was created in Recraft as a full vector — not a bitmap then vectorized, but a native SVG from the model. The prompt was generated by my AI agent combining graphic design skills and master prompting:
Create a modern typographic logo for a cosmetics brand called “Mien,” designed for people with freckled skin. The wordmark should feel soft, fresh, inclusive, and skincare-focused, with a clean contemporary typeface and subtle personality. Add a clever detail inspired by freckles by turning the dot above the “i” into a small clustered freckle-like mark or a delicate organic dot pattern, but keep the logo elegant and minimal, not playful or childish. The overall look should be premium, gentle, dermatology-friendly, and modern beauty-oriented. Use only typography, no icon, no illustration, no background, no mockup. The logo should feel natural, confident, and softly expressive.
The dot over the “i” is a full circle in a freckle tone — which detaches as a standalone logomark: one freckle. The typography is a small, rounded typeface: intimate and warm, with no capital letters.
System
The entire shoot runs on one API (Black Forest Labs). The pipeline maintains face consistency through a reference-lock and logs the real cost of each generation.
Total campaign cost: $0.86.
Why this is in the portfolio
MIEN demonstrates the hardest control challenge in AI: the human face. A bottle or flask is easy to keep consistent — it’s a dead object. A face that must be recognizable across ten different frames is a completely different level of requirement. The mechanism is the same: reference-lock, consistency, quality control before paid generation.
MIEN is a fictional brand, with no affiliation to any existing cosmetics house. The entire project was created as a process demonstration.
